The Next Step Medical Clinic is your one-stop orthopaedics, physiotherapy and podiatry centre for musculoskeletal pain, sports injury, foot pain and other related conditions. It is located at Unit 1110, 70 Queen’s Road Central, Central, the heart of the city and Hong Kong’s primary central business district.

Our team of medical specialists includes orthopaedics, physiotherapists and podiatrists who are all highly trained and have many years of experience in their chosen fields. We work together to provide the best possible treatment for your individual problems.

We treat the causes of the pains and injuries, not only the symptoms. We will work with you to set goals and objectives that will help your recovery from surgery, your weekend sporting injuries and your everyday pain. We strongly believe in delivering greater value and higher quality of care to our patients through effective communication and ethical clinical practice.

Charlie is a podiatrist registered under the International Podiatrists Association of Hong Kong and registered with the Podiatrists Board of New Zealand. He received professional training in podiatry from the Auckland university technology in New Zealand and furthered his education and obtained his Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Rehabilitation from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Charlie is currently working at the Matilda international hospital/ Matilda Medical Centre (Central) , Hong Kong Adventist Hospital- Tsuen wan and Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong. He had worked in two multidisciplinary clinics in Shanghai. He also volunteered at the HKSKH Lady MacLehose Centre and provided podiatry education for the disadvantaged.
Charlie work closely in partnership with consultant orthopedic surgeons, general practitioner and physiotherapist. They ensure each patient is thoroughly assessed; diagnosed and optimum treatment is selected.

His experience in a private practice in New Zealand and at the Matilda International Hospital in Hong Kong has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of diagnosis and treatment of a wide array of pathologies of the foot and lower leg, including:
Nail & skin pathologies (callus / cracked heels, corns, in-growing toenails, fungal nails, verrucae, foot warts, etc.)

Jeff gained his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at University of Otago, New Zealand. After graduation, he completed postgraduate courses in Dry Needling, Sports Rehabilitation, Concussion Rehabilitation and Vestibular Rehabilitation.

Jeff has experience in working with highly active individuals in military clinics. He also spent time delivering community Physiotherapy services, where he gained knowledge and skills in working with a variety of conditions including chronic pain, neurological, geriatric, as well as orthopedic conditions. Jeff has strong passion in delivery patient-specific and evidence-based care. He is also a firm believer of the proactive healthcare approach of which actions should be taken to prevent health problems before they occur. He always tries his best to make his patients feel better, whether physically or psychologically, when they walk out of the clinic.

Jeff is a basketball lover. On his days off, you will most likely find him playing basketball at local parks. He is also pursuing a Master degree at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he will be spending most of his weekends in the short future.
